The range of activities that may fit into a den meeting is as wide as imagination itself. Many suggestions for activities can be found in the Cub Scout program literature, children’s books and magazines, and many other sources.

 

Any activity you can imagine can be incorporated into a den meeting, so long as it is age-appropriate, safe, and—most of all—fun. Ideally, the activities included in a den meeting reinforce the values taught by Cub Scouting or match the monthly theme. But sometimes, "just for fun" is all the reason you need.

 

Pack 3 meets every week on Tuesday evening at 6:30 - 7:30 pm at College Hill Presbyterian Church, Brodhead street, Easton PA. Our monthly schedule generally follows:

• 2 den meetings: This is where the scouts will participate in events with their particular den to help advance them through the Cub Scout ranks.

• 1 PAL (parent and Leader) meeting: This meeting is where parents and den/committee members meet to plan out the PACKS activities. We revue the calendar of events; financial information; where each den is in their advancement and other relevant information.

• 1 PACK meeting: This is where all the dens come together to acknowledge and award merits and advancements of each pack member. Group activities involving the entire pack can happen at this time as well.
